Terms and Conditions: Alghero Tours
Operator: Alghero Service SAS (Alghero, Italy) Effective Date: February 1, 2025
1. Scope of Service and Parties Alghero Service SAS (hereinafter "the Contractor") provides premium excursion services. By booking, the person or entity making the booking (hereinafter "the Client") enters into a binding contract governed by Italian law. Our strategy is focused on high-quality service and high-commitment clients; therefore, these terms are designed to ensure mutual reliability.
2. Obligations of the Parties Contractor’s Commitment: The Contractor shall provide services in accordance with the descriptions provided in the booking confirmation and tour itinerary.
Client’s Commitment: The Client is responsible for:
Making timely payments as agreed.
Providing a complete and accurate list of participants.
Adhering to all safety regulations during the tour.
Disclosing all critical information regarding the group (e.g., allergies, medical conditions, mobility restrictions). Failure to disclose such info may lead to tour cancellation without refund.
3. Payments Payment for excursions must be made via bank transfer to the Contractor’s account or another explicitly agreed-upon method.
Full payment (or a non-refundable deposit) is required to secure the date. All inquiries are treated as non-binding until payment is confirmed.
4. Cancellation Policy (Effective Jan 1, 2026)
This policy is designed to filter for committed travelers and protect the Contractor’s resource planning.
Cancellation 30 Days or Less Before the Tour:
Refund to Client: No refund (0%).
Additional Costs: The Client is liable for all out-of-pocket expenses already incurred by the Contractor/Guide (e.g., pre-purchased tickets, reservations, transport deposits).
Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before the Tour:
Refund to Client: Full refund of the tour price.
Additional Costs: Any non-recoverable costs already paid to third parties (e.g., entry tickets, booking fees) remain the responsibility of the Client and will not be refunded.
Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events):
In the event of Force Majeure, the Client receives a full refund of the tour price.
Alghero Tours does not cover incidental costs such as travel, flights, or external service fees.
Boat Tours & Weather:
Safety is paramount. The subcontractor/captain makes the final decision on weather suitability. If a boat tour is cancelled due to weather, the Client will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
5. Changes to the Program
The Contractor reserves the right to modify the tour program due to factors beyond their control (e.g., weather conditions, transport breakdowns, sudden closure of sites). In such cases, the Contractor will make every effort to provide an alternative solution of equivalent value.
6. Liability and Insurance
Client Liability: The Contractor is not liable for damages caused by the participants of the tour. The Client assumes full financial responsibility for any damage to equipment, vessels, or property caused by their group.
Insurance: The Client is obligated to provide/possess appropriate insurance for the participants. Alghero Tours does not provide personal travel or medical insurance.
Risk: By booking, the Client acknowledges the inherent risks of outdoor and maritime activities.
7. Final Provisions
Amendments: Any changes to this agreement must be made in writing to be valid.
Governing Law: This agreement and all services provided are governed exclusively by Italian Law.
Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising from this contract shall be resolved by the Court in Sassari, Italy.
We issue electronic tickets, via email, which includes a "Booking Number". You may be asked to present this email and the "Booking Number" in the email to gain admission to the tour. It is advisable to print it out and bring it along, as we would hate to have to refuse admission to a tour because we don’t know you have a ticket.
Your purchase and contract is made directly with ALGHEROTOURS.COM, a registered domain owned by Alghero Service s.a.s. di Antonio Morittu & C. and Antonio Morittu, licensed tour guide of Region Sardinia N. 1174, which is responsible for resolving any issues with you.
If for any reason you do not receive your email containing the "Booking Number" please email info@algherotours.com shopkeepers whose services we use. Some of these limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, and property damage. As such, ALGHEROTOURS.COM takes reasonable measures to prevent foreseeable personal or property harm but cannot accept liability for events beyond our control.
